A candlelit vigil is being held for the Laois teenager who died in a crash at the weekend.
19 year old Daragh Lee passed away on Saturday morning after he was involved in a collision with a van on the N80 at Clonsoghey, near Portlaoise.
The event is being held at Connor Davis Park Clubhouse. Bayroad, Mountmellick tonight at 8 o'clock.
Those attending are asked to bring their own candles and to wear yellow and blue.
In a post on Facebook, Mountmellick Central Hub says the entire community has been left heartbroken and absolutely devastated by the tragic loss of one of its brightest, kindest, shining stars, who will be remembered always.
The group is teaming up with Daragh's club Mountmellick United in order to bring everyone together in his memory.
A minute's silence will be held around 9pm.
