The National Council for the Blind is making the call.
The National Council for the Blind is appealing for volunteers at two of its charity shops in the midlands.
Its five stores around the region have opened back up following lockdown, but Tullamore and Moate in particular are in need of volunteers.
The NCBI's Head of Communications, June Tinsley, says it's a great way to meet new people while giving back to the community:
Anyone interested can contact Pauleen Byrne at pauleen.byrne@ncbi.ie or on 0877083871, or you can pop into the shops.
