Children's Carers Not Eligible For €125 Fuel Allowance Top-Up

A midlands activist says carers are being forgotten.

Carers who are responsible for children aren't entitled to a fuel allowance payment.

Mary Dunne, former Chair of Laois and Offaly Families for Autism, highlights that those being cared for are only eligible for the one-off fund if they can apply for fuel allowance.

Households are being offered a €125 one-off payment to tackle the rising cost of living.
