Investigations into all seizures made are ongoing.
Contraband worth over €880,000 has been siezed in the midlands, Dublin and Rosslare over the past week.
Revenue uncovered 30kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of over €611,000 and other illict drugs in the midlands and Dublin.
Parcels in Rosslare and the midlands were found to contain alcohol and cigarettes of various brands.
A number of counterfeit goods has also been seized be Revenue officers.
Investigations into all seizures made are ongoing.
A full list of the items seized can be found below:
- Over 30kg of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of almost €611,300;
- almost 2.35 kg of cocaine, with an estimated value of €164,500;
- various other illicit drugs, with an estimated value of almost €3,000;
- 251 items of counterfeit goods, with an estimated value of €83,000;
- approximately 458 litres of alcohol, with an estimated value of over €10,000;
- 1,310 cigarettes, with an estimated value of €1,200; and
- €9,900 in cash.
The cociane was seized at Dublin Airport.
The various drugs included 40mls of Cannabis Oil and 1,492 Benzodiazepine, Diazepam, Zolpidem, Zopiclone tablets.
The counterfiet goods included brands such as didas, , Ami, Boss, Burberry, Canada Goose, Calvin Klein, Crocs, Dior, Golden Goose, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Moncler, Mulberry, New Balance, Nike, The North Face, Off White, ON Cloud, Palm Angels, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Red Bull, Saint Laurent, Stone Island, Tommy Hilfiger, Ugg and White Fox.
The alcohol included 51 litres of spirits, 87 litres of beer and 320 litres of wine, and represented a potential loss to the Exchequer of €4,050.
