People in Offaly are being urged to get out and support a convoy of trucks that’s bringing supplies to Ukrainian refugees.
A collection of essential items is taking place at Tullamore Rugby Club this Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm - with small items like toiletries, non-perishable food, first aid kits and sleeping bags welcome.
Local businessman John Condron, who's helping to co-ordinate the delivery - says the lorries will leave Tullamore with a garda escort next Monday evening:
