During a mandatory intoxicant checkpoint in Borris in Ossory, Laois Roads Policing Unit arrested a drug driver after they failed a roadside test for Cannabis.
A car was also seized at another MIT checkpoint in Portlaoise after it was found to have no tax, NCT or insurance.
The tyres on the vehicle were also "excessively worn."
