A driver has been arrested in Westmeath after being found under the influence of drugs.
They were caught travelling at 174 kmph on the N4 by the Divisional Roads Policing Unit.
A roadside drugs test indicated that the motorist was under the influence of cocaine and cannabis.
A blood specimen was taken and sent to the Medical Bureau of Road Safety for analysis.
