A €1,000 tax break for workers is among the ideas being brought to the table, during budget talks.
The proposal's been made by three Fine Gael Junior Ministers - Longford Westmeath TD Peter Burke, Kildare South Deputy Martin Heydon and Jennifer Carroll Mac Neil.
The Irish Independent reports their idea would see workers on the average household income given the tax break.
It comes as Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Green Party prepare to meet for Budget talks later in the summer.
Fine Gael Dublin South-West TD Colm Brophy says it's something workers deserve after years of 'high-taxation'.
