Last year two midlands players won prizes in excess of one million euro.
The 19 million euro National Lottery jackpot will be won by one or more players on Saturday.
The National Lottery has confirmed that if the jackpot is not won outright the full value of the prize will flow down to the winner or winners of the next winning tier.
The Lottery also confirmed that in future the top prize will be won no more than five draws after the cap reached
Last year two millionaires were named in the midlands, with players in Westmeath winning prizes of just over a million and 6 and half million respectively.
The jackpot was last won on June the 9th 2021.
