A lucky Lotto player in Westmeath has scooped a quarter of a million euro.
The National Lottery is urging people in the county to check their tickets carefully following last night's Lotto Plus 2 draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Dunnes Store in Harbour Place, Mullingar on Tuesday.
The winning numbers were: 15, 18, 20, 24, 30, 40 and the bonus was 21.
The Westmeath winner of the 250,000 euro is advised to sign the back of their ticket, keep it safe and contact the National Lottery.
