Laois will receive €13.6 million, while Westmeath has been allocated slightly less, at €13.5 million.
Around the country, an investment programme of €658 million has been announced for Irish roads.
Following the announcement, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Offaly Green Party Senator Pippa Hackett said
