The Rental Tenancies Board's latest survey has found the average agreed rent in the region is €1,024.
The total average price in the three counties has jumped by around €40 since the first quarter of this year.
The average agreed price for rent in Laois is €1,111, which is the highest in the region and a €44 increase on the first quarter of 2022.
In Westmeath, that figure is €1,047, an increase of €35 on the first 3 months of the year.
Offaly is the only county in the region, and one of only 12 in the country, with an agreed price of less than one thousand euro, at €958. That's a €40 increase on the first quarter.
In the study period there was 12,700 new tenancies registered with the RTB - down 16 percent on the same time in 2021.
These figures only include tenancies registered with the Rental Tenancies Board.
