Elderly Westmeath Couple Reconnected After Eir Disruption

There's been outcry from the public over the company's poor customer service.

An elderly Westmeath couple left without a phoneline for six weeks by Eir have been reconnected. 

The pair, who are in their 70s, wrote a letter to Junior Minister Robert Troy two weeks ago, detailing their issue. 

Deputy Troy says he has since received a number of emails regarding the poor customer service of numerous companies. 

The Fianna Fáil TD says it shouldn't be necessary to contact your local rep to resolve these issues:
