Orgnaisers say protesting will be a last resort.
More than a thousand people gathered in Westmeath yesterday to consider fresh protests over the cost of fuel.
The gathering took place at the Well Bar in Moate last night, organised by The People of Ireland Against Fuel Prices group.
People from across the country shared their experiences and the impact rising costs are having on their lives and livelihoods.
One of the organisers, Christopher Duffy, says further demonstrations will take place if the upcoming Budget does not deliver the action being called for:
