Enterprise Minister Orders Energy Market Review Amid Price Gouging Fears

He has written to the Chair of the CCPC.

There's going to be a review of the retail energy market, to establish if people are being price gouged.

Enterprise Minister Peter Burke has written to the Chair of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission to ensure the current crisis in the Gulf doesn't lead to unfair price increases for consumers. 

The Irish Road Haulage Association is accusing companies of inflating prices - its president, Rosenallis's Ger Hyland, is calling for an immediate cut to Government taxes on fuel:
