The sister of a Laois student who was killed in a hit and run incident says there is a sense of peace knowing justice has been served.
Mountrath's Joe Drennan died in October 2023 after he was knocked down and killed at a bus stop in Limerick.
Kieran Fogarty, the man responsible for Mr Drennan's death, had his original eight year concurrent sentence extended to an extra five years, which now means he will serve a total of 13 years in prison.
