The world's biggest traditional music festival will be coming back to the town in the summer of 2023 after seeing off competing bids from Belfast and Wexford.
Chamber President John Geoghegan believes the influx of half a million festival revelers into Westmeath poses opportunities and challenges for pubs and shops.
