Portarlington and Mountmellick were affected by rain over the weekend.
Water levels are beginning to recede after significant flooding in the Midlands over the weekend.
There was widespread flooding in Portarlington on Friday, after Mountmellick was hit on Thursday.
The National Directorate for Fire & Emergency Management says it has been working with all affected county councils after Storm Claudia.
Local authorities are also working with the Department of Enterprise to help businesses impacted.
Bottley Lane and Spa Street in Portarlington were both impassable on Saturday.
Spa Street is now re-opened, and it appears homes and businesses have escaped damage from the floods.
