A fundraiser is to be held to aid families experiencing food poverty in the midlands.
A concert for the Ken Smollen Food Appeal will take place in Mullingar this evening at the Annebrook House Hotel.
The event will feature performances from James Killbane, Sinead McLaughlin and Matt Leavy.
Owner of the food appeal, Independent Councillor Ken Smollen, who was diagnosed with cancer last year, took to social media to say that "the show must go on".
