A midlands garda is cycling from Westmeath to Westport and climbing Croagh Patrick this weekend, in aid of a local boy with Cerebral Palsy.
Tomas Blake is heading off on the 180 kilometre trip this morning to raise funds for six year old Adam Boyce.
The money raised will go towards a new tablet for the Castlepollard boy and Diarmada National School in Whitehall.
Garda Blake will be departing from Diarmada NS at 8.50 this morning.
