A man in his 20s has been arrested.
Gardaí in Portarlington have arrested a man in his 20s following a €60,000 drugs seizure.
Officers searched a house and a car last night as part of an operation into the sale and supply of drugs in Laois.
Three kilogrammes of suspected cannabis herb was recovered and will now be sent for analysis.
The man is currently being detained at Portlaoise Garda Station and investigations remain ongoing.
