Tools were stolen from a jeep in Abbeyleix yesterday morning.
Laois County Fire and Rescue Service say the vehicle belongs to a firefigthter and was broken into while they were responding to a call.
Gardaí wish to speak to anyone who may have been close to Abbeyleix Fire Station between 9 and 11am.
