It's believed a group of people are behind the theft.
Gardaí are renewing an appeal for information in relation to a Laois theft.
Two drills and three grinders were stolen from a van in the Crann Nua area of Portarlington last Wednesday night, at around 11pm.
Officers were informed multiple people may have been involved in the theft, and it's understood Gardaí are now trawling through CCTV footage in a bid to find those responsible.
They're asking for witnesses, particularly those with camera or dashcam footage, to get in touch with them.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station.
