The car is used to educate people on the legal limits of modifications.
A modified Garda car will be on display in Offaly this weekend.
One of the newest vehicles in the Garda fleet is a 2.0 Litre Volkswagen Golf, which was seized during an operation uncovering large volumes of illegal drugs and unexplained cash, and is now known as Operation Nexus.
The car is fitted with legal modifications, which were installed with assistance from car enthusiasts, as part of a bid to educate people on the legal limits of modifying a vehicle.
It's coming to Offaly this Saturday, and will be on display in O'Connell Square in Edenderry from 11am to 1pm, and at O'Connor Square in Tullamore from 2pm to 5pm.
