St Francis Special School in Portlaoise is currently operating over full capacity - with an application for two temporary classrooms refused by the Department of Education.
The current Minister of State for Foreign Affairs was elected to the Laois-Offaly constituency and is choosing to run for re-election in Laois.
Hospital investments in Laois is also on his manifesto.
