Government Considers Heavy Fines For Tech Firms Over AI Abuses

The move follows ‘Grok’ reportedly producing sexual images of women and children.

The Government is discussing bringing forward massive fines for tech firms which abuse Artificial Intelligence. 

It's after X allowed its AI chat bot 'Grok' to create sexual images of women and children.

Enterprise Minister and Longford-Westmeath TD Peter Burke is asking his cabinet colleagues to approve new laws leap-frogging EU legislation. 

It comes as the British Prime Minister threatened to control Grok if it keeps generating deepfakes.
