Granny Nancy To Be Laid To Rest This Weekend

She passed away yesterday morning.

The funeral of one of Ireland's oldest residents will take place this weekend.

Granny Nancy passed away yesterday at 6am in her 108th year at her home in Clonard.

Mrs. Stewart will be reposing at her family home this evening between 5 and 7pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Sunday at 2 pm in St Finian’s Church, Clonard, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. (Due to government advice, the capacity of the church is limited to 50%.)

She was born on the 16th October 1913 and grew up in Castlerickard, near Longwood.
