The hospital has made the decision to cancel non-urgent appointments from today.
It's hoped non-urgent procedures at Tullamore Regional Hospital can be re-scheduled as soon as possible.
The measure comes into effect from today, due to pressure from the high levels of covid-19 in the community.
Management says essential services and urgent procedures will continue.
