The Geowox Housing report shows Mullingar has shown the biggest price increase in the past year.
The price of homes in Midlands towns have gone up 12.1% on average.
The latest Geowox Housing Report for the second quarter of 2025 shows the biggest price increase is in Mullingar at €340,000 when compared to the same period last year, the price has increased by 14.9%.
The median cost of a home jumped by 9.9% to €300,000 in Portlaoise, while in Tullamore prices rose by 11.5% to €290,000.
Nationally, the cost of a home in a town has increased by 9.5% from €338,000 to €370,000.
