House Prices On The Rise In The Midlands

The figures are according to the latest REA survey. 

House prices are going up quicker in Laois than nearly any other county in the country.

The cost of a second-hand three bed semi detached houseis up 5% to €315,000, according to the latest REA survey. 

Only Cavan is seeing a bigger increase in the cost of such a house at 5.6%.

In Offaly the price is up 1.2% to almost €300,000 and Westmeath is seeing an increase of 1.4% to €360,000, 

Nationally, the average price of a 3-bed semi-detached house rose 1.5% in three months to over €360,000.
