Offaly County Council had requested extra planning information from the HSE in May.
The HSE is confirming that they're 'on track' to provide Offaly County Council with the extra planning information required for a new Midlands Hospice.
A decision on the planning application was due at the end of May, before the local authority requested further details.
The Health Service expects to deliver it this month, two months ahead of the November deadline.
Arden Lane in Tullamore was chosen as the location for the 20-bed facility by the Department of Health after a contentious scoring evaluation alongside the Wellwood Healthcare Campus.
The HSE says they've been actively engaging with key stakeholders and the design team to finalise the required information.
