An ICU nurse in the midlands is raising funds for the Mater Foundation after they saved his patient's life.
Graiguecullen's Gerard Hosey says he developed a great bond with his patient Gerard ‘Jack’ McHugh as they had many family similarities.
Mr. McHugh, who's been in hospital over 140 days, went to the Mater Hospital for treatment, including learning to walk again.
