The Irish Farmers Association is putting forward fresh proposals to break a 'deadlock' over the removal of Bord Bia's chair.

IFA President, Ballinakill's Francie Gorman is requesting that the board hold a further meeting without Larry Murrin present.

The body is also repeating calls for him to step aside or step down, amid members holding sleep-in protests at Bord Bia's offices in Dublin.
