Increases To Fines For Road Safety Offences

The Irish Roads Victims Association doesn't think the changes will deter offenders.

The Irish Road Victims Association doesn't think an increase in fines will deter road safety offenders:

Fines for speeding, holding a phone while driving and not wearing a seatbelt will be doubled tonight.

In total, there will be sixteen fines increased in as a way of making roads safer.

To date so far this year, there have been 123 deaths on Irish roads.
