A sitting TD and a councillor will see their names on the ballot.
Independent Ireland has selected two more candidates to run in the upcoming General Election.
Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice is seeking re-election in the Roscommon-Galway constituency and Councillor Declan Geraghty aims to secure a seat in Galway-East.
Deputy Fitzmarice first secured his Dáil seat in the 2014 Roscommon-South Leitrim by-election and plans to remain focused on championing rural issues.
Meanwhile Mr Geraghty, who previously served as the Ballinasloe Cathaoirleach, wants to tackle key issues such as rural crime and dwindling Garda numbers.
