170 people fleeing the war in Ukraine have began moving into the town.
A midlands town will soon be "at full capacity," as Ukrainian refugees have began to move into temporary accommodation in the area.
They're the words of Councillor John King, as 170 people fleeing the war have started moving into 42 modular homes in Rathdowney.
That figure includes 70 children, 40 of which will attend the local National School, with the remaining 30 heading to the Secondary School.
Councillor King says he wants to see the remainder of the site used for local benefit:
