Gardaí are looking for anyone who may have seen the getaway cars used in the armed robbery of a post office in Offaly yesterday.
Two men stole a substantial sum of money from the premises in Clara at 9.30 yesterday morning.
They then fled the scene in a 07 D reg silver Toyota Avensis, which was later found burnt out in the Ballynakill area of Horseleap.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen this car OR a 05 or 08 black Opel Astra, which appeared to be travelling in convoy with the Toyota Avensis.
Anyone in the Clara, Horseleap or Moate areas - or travelling west on the M6 - between 9.30 and 10.45 and saw anything suspicous - is asked to contact gardaí.
