€2 million was raised for Laois boy Dan Donoher through the Do It for Dan Campaign, while people contributed €40,000 to the fund for Athlone teenager Saoirse, who is battling cancer along with her mum Fiona Murphy, and €18,000 was donated for Paddy Kearns from Banagher who suffered serious injuries in a crash in London.
The US has come second with the UK in third.
