Irelands Medicine Shortage Has 'Vastly Improved'

Cold and flu medicine were in short supply due to circulating respiratory viruses.

Ireland's medicine shortage situation has 'vastly improved.'

That's according to Eamonn Brady of Whelehan's Pharmacy in Mullingar, who says the European Medicines Agency is putting a plan in place to avoid a repeat next year.

Cold and flu medicine and treatments for pain, sleep disorder and infections were in short supply due to circulating respiratory viruses during the Winter period.

But Mr. Brady says we're not out of the water just yet:
