IRHA President Urges Government to Simplify Permit Process

The IRHA president believes a reform is needed for non-EU haulage drivers.

The President of the Irish Road Haulage Association says Government reform on permit application for non-EU haulage drivers is needed.

Rosenallis's Ger Hyland feels that the current process is too convoluted and is adding to labour shortage problems within the sector in Ireland.

He's calling for a multi department approach to look at the current review process and simplifty it.
