38 St Patrick's Day missions will be taking place across the world next week as politicians visit various countries.
It's thanks to the Irish diaspora across the world that St Patrick's Day is such a unique celebration of Ireland internationally.
That's according to former Fine Gael Senator from Westmeath, Gabrielle McFadden, who says if we turn down the opportunity to meet with the President of the United States one year, we may never get the chance back.
Irish politicians are gearing up jet around the globe to various different countries for March 17th.
Ms McFadden says it's important for the Government to be able to highlight Ireland across the world:
