Irish Rail is warning Midlands commuters of delays over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Track renewal and platform works are taking place from Portarlington station to Athlone from this Saturday until Monday.
Bus transfers will operate between Heuston Station in Dublin to Athlone, to Galway and to Westport/Ballina.
