Just under €500,000 is being given to beef farmers across the Midlands.
EU funding from the common agricultural policy will see some 289 farmers in Laois receive €192,000.
274 farmers in Offaly are getting a total of €178,000 while there's €118,000 for 225 farmers in Westmeath.
It's the second year of the scheme as part of the CAP plan which is currently in the proposal stages of its renewal for 2028.
