A Laois student is 'sleeping-out' to raise money for Midlands Simon Community.
5th year Portlaoise student Briony Heffernan-Price has had her fundraising plans disrupted due to COVID-19, but still wants to do something positive despite the restrictions.
She's asking people to donate to her Go Fund Me page, while she and her friends are sleeping out in their back gardens tomorrow night.
Briony's had to put a twist on the traditional Simon Community sleep-out event, in the hope of drawing awareness to the homelessness crisis:
