A local community is "heartbroken" after 15 year old David Brown lost his life in a quad bike accident.
A dark cloud is over a Laois town this morning, as a local community prepares to say goodbye to a much loved teenager.
The funeral of David Brown, who died following a quad bike accident, will take place in Ss Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise at 12 noon, and he will be laid to rest in Ss Peter and Paul's Cemetery afterwards.
Portlaoise GAA also says it is heartbroken beyond words as the 15-year-old was one of their very best and brightest.
The St. Mary's CBS student is survived by his parents James and Carmel and siblings Conor and Sarah.
