Ballinakill is joining the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
Another Laois town is in line for a streetscape painting facelift.
The Town and Village Renewal Scheme will support property owners, local businesses, and residents in Ballinakill's town centre to paint and upgrade building façades.
The scheme, delivered under the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht Town and Village Renewal Programme, will offer eligible property owners up to 75% of painting costs, capped at €1,000.
Ballinakill joins Mountmellick is securing access to the programme in recent weeks.
Applications close on Friday, the 1st of May at 4pm, with works to be completed by the end of August this year.
