A large number of weapons and over 6,000 cigarettes have been seized in County Longford.
The discovery was made during the search of a premises in Longford town at around 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

18 large knives, 11 imitation guns, 1 small hatchet, 1 canister of pepper spray and a baton were recovered along with a number of other items.
Longford Gardaí helped by the local District Detective Unit, the Community Engagement Unit and the Divisional Drugs Unit made the find.
