Local radio remains one of the most trusted brands in the country, according to the annual Digital Report.
71% of people say local radio news is a trustworthy source, while 69% say they trust local newspapers.
The latest JNLR figures show just under 110,000 people tune into Midlands 103 every week.
However news avoidance is at an all time high of 47%, up six points on last year.
