A Longford Westmeath TD says the Government have been sitting on its hands for 4 weeks.

It comes as Coalition leaders will meet tonight to sign off on a package of energy relief measures.

It's set to include a cut to the excise duty on petrol and diesel and a potential double payment of fuel allowance.

Sinn Féins Sorca Clarke believes changes to the rebate scheme could see the general public lose out because of tax rules.
