A man has been arrested following the robbery of a young woman in Offaly.
The incident occurred in the Blundell Wood area of Edenderry at about 9 o'clock on Monday night.
Gardaí say the victim, a woman in her 20s, suffered some injuries.
A man was arrested in relation to the incident yesterday and detained.
He's since been charged and appeared before a sitting of Portlaoise District Court this morning.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed anything is asked to contact gardaí.
